In India it is possible for the country to be able to produce more energy from the sun than they would ever use. This is because they receive a huge amount of sunlight and their population is not massively in demand of electricity. This means that there is a huge potential that they could export the energy that they are generating to other countries that find it too expensive to install the necessary equipment to convert the suns energy into electricity. This is just one of the applications of solar energy in India.

They could use it to improve their businesses or to help to supply more of the homes with affordable energy. The businesses may be able to grow more quickly if they pay up front to install the facilities required to generate solar energy – then they will be able to start seeing savings on their fuel bills. In a country which has so much sun light, this could really help to save money in the long term. Of course, the fact that it is expensive to install the necessary equipment, could mean that other countries, which have more money to invest in this type of thing, are able to get ahead. However, there are many countries which just do not have enough sunlight to make it worthwhile having solar power. If a country does not have much sunlight, it can cost more money to install the necessary equipment than can be saved by using this free source of energy.

It would be well worth their while building a solar energy plant. There are not many of them around at the moment – just in the USA and Spain, but others are being planned so this would be a great opportunity for someone to become part of this new market. There is an increasing demand for ‘clean’ energy that does not cause pollution when it is converted to electricity, so this could be a very good market to go into. Market leaders are likely to be able to profit in this area, as the demand is likely to start to increase.

Quick Tip #1

Solar energy is best for countries that get a lot of sunlight. It can be a great source of electricity and help add to the current supply, providing a cheaper and renewable source that causes no pollution.
